Fashion Night Out is a Go!
Good news! Fashion's Night Out will happen again next year, after what has been deemed a positive enough response to Anna Wintour and Mayor Bloomberg's first shopping-stimulus initiative held on the first day of Fashion Week last month. Next year we are soooo going! It's like the Mardo Gras of Fashion! Can't Wait!

New York Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn loved Ivanka Trump's custom Vera Wang wedding dress. She just died over the sleeves, which Wang had to add since the groom is Jewish and Ivanka just converted. Wang hopes to continue making modest wedding gowns in the future. “She was actually very much about being covered and I seized on the chance to do a dress that wasn’t naked and very Hollywood.” Sooo... Did she think Ms. Trump might start a trend with her sleeves? “She might very,” Ms. Wang said. “Nothing would make me happier. I’ve been doing strapless dresses for 15 years. It’s tiring.” YAY! There is nothing fiercer than rocking some tznius Vera Wang =)

Ads for Sonia Rykiel's lingerie line are rolling out in foreign magazines; the ones pictured here recently ran in Spurr. H&M previously called the line "a totally modern, new kind of lingerie look." These opaque black bras with flowers on the dead center are not rather discreet undergarments and totally unwearable for under clothing... We hope people dont start wearing this stuff in public...ick
