Lesson of the Day


The skirt above looks like a great tznius fierce find but don't let the length fool you - it's not. The fabric of this skirt is made from sateen which is pretty much universally unflattering. The sheen is rather scary and is unforgiving on any resemblance of a curve - it will make you look at least 2 sizes larger. Even the picture above looks fat! Under this category falls also the fabric satin and all the shiny silky such. It irks me when I see brides pick satin for their bridesmaids - WHY?! Do you want them to look bad? It contours around the body in such a bad way and a part of me cries a little inside. So please do me a favour and avoid this fabric! Thank you!
